about Matt Ulrich, LEED AP

Matt has been actively involved in the field of landscape design and construction for over 12 years.  He has a strong background in single family residential design and construction management from his years as project manager of a large design / build company, and later as owner of Matthew Ulrich Landscape Design.  Matt has participated in the design, permitting, cost estimating, and construction management of hundreds of residential landscape projects.  His work blends sustainable landscape design and artistic savvy with a strong knowledge of plant materials and construction methods.

Since the creation of UBLA in 2010, Matt has partnered his talent for intimate, residential scale place-making with Rebecca Bachand’s commercial design and permitting experience to service larger commercial, office, healthcare, education, and affordable housing clients.
